Staying in Shadow
Ellie Walker doesn’t remember the past five years of her life—not after driving off a bridge. So, she’s come to Shadow and made a new home near her cousin and his wife. She even has a steady boyfriend who seems to mean more to her than he should. Sometimes, Ellie is so content, she’s not sure she wants to remember.
Gage Donovan was ordered by the doctors to let Ellie remember on her own, but he’s not about to let her forget him. He’s banking on her falling in love with him all over again—just as she did before they were married. He knows when she regains her memory, the result will most likely destroy their love.
Ellie was part of an elite federal investigative team, headed by Gage, set up to take down a nation-wide child-kidnapping ring. Nobody knows what happened to Ellie the day of the accident, after she rushed out of headquarters.
When it appears the very organization they’re trying to stop has set up shop in Shadow, Gage and his team figure it’s too much of a coincidence. Ellie knows g important, and the person they’re determined to take in may be closer than any of them know. Lives are in danger and hearts may break as Gage and Ellie search for the truth.

In Shadow Trilogy
BOOK 1

A reunion, a stalker, and a vengeful man—what’s a woman to do? If that woman is Holly Morris, she relies on her faith, friends, and a dog named Clarence.

After six years of peace, Holly’s college stalker has returned with a vengeance. If she doesn’t remember she belongs to him, somebody is going to be hurt. To add to her fun life, the man she helps turn in for child abuse blames her for everything, and he’s going to get even–threatening to “finish her off.” With a reunion of students who barely looked at chubby girl, Holly Morris, coming up, she’s about at the end of her rope. It’s a good thing the Lord has provided a support system to keep her from falling.

Luke Walker has loved Holly as long as he can remember. He protected her from bullies in school, and he’ll protect her from the monsters after her now–even while dealing with threats and vandalism on his farm. Nobody is going to scare him away from Holly. When he lets his beloved Heinz 57 dog, Clarence, spend nights as her watchdog, everybody feels better. The amiable giant has always gone into killer mode when he thought anyone was too close to Holly.

Join Holly and Luke as they discover the depth of friendship and love…and that God’s love is stronger than any evil.

It’s here!! available at Amazon.com in paperback and Kindle
A man with shattered faith and secrets he can’t share
A woman with her life centered around Jesus and happy to live in Shadow
Danger has come to Shadow

Dispatcher for local law enforcement, Haley Johnson is used to calls, but usually nothing to be worried about. A male resident tells her his wife is trying to murder him by dumping a perfectly fine bottle of alcohol down the drain. Or a nosy neighbor calls to complain about her elderly neighbor with a proclivity for outdoor bathing. So, when the call comes in about a robbery, she’s shocked. Evil seems to have taken hold of Shadow, with vandalism quickly turning to murder. What is happening to the peaceful gown of Shadow?

Beau Hardy isn’t Beau Hardy. Nor is he any of the other names he’s gone by during the past six years. A secret past and shattered faith are all he owns. When it looks like trouble has followed him to Shadow, he plans on leaving. Will that save the town or leave them defenseless?

When Beau and Haley are formally introduced, they’re both stunned. Beau has never seen a more beautiful woman and almost instantly feels a connection. Haley has gone through blind dates with the knowledge God would bring her the right man at the right time. Surely this man with all his secrets can’t be him. Can it?

Staying safe by moving around is no longer an option for Beau. Trouble has followed him to Shadow, and he will clean it up before he leaves. Haley tries to remember his lies and that he won’t stay in town. Are the two of them going to become a real couple? Or will Beau leave her in danger, or will he find a way to stay with her.

Come along as Beau and Haley discover the strength of a love God gives them.

Georgia, I just finished book one of this trilogy and am trying to get books two and three. Where are they? I did so enjoy book one. Very clearly defined characters and a Godly message, while adding suspense and action. Truly a good read, but I want the next ebooks.

Barring anymore family affairs and this computer not flying through the back door, I should have the Kindle version available no later than the 18th of this month. If you order Staying in Shadow straight from me, I’ll knock off the postage as a thank you for being so patient.

Thank you for being a patient reader. I honestly thought I’d have it ready to go way in time for Oct 1, but the editing double-check app I use kicked it out with chapters out of place and/or numbered incorrectly. If you choose to order the book from me, I will knock off the postage. I hate that people have been waiting, and overtime I try to send it in, something else is wrong. Officially, release date is OCT 12 now, but I am working on it ever spare moment so hopefully it will be sooner.

It’s coming in mid to late August. I have had health problems and then my new computer is a Mac and drives me crazy. With Living, I had to reformat the entire book three times before it worked. Since I know how to do that, Staying in Shadow should be easier. Thank you for inquiring. I’m glad you like the books.

I am working on it, and am hoping it will be ready before the end of August – no promises because every time I make one, something goes wrong. I can’t believe how far back I was pushed when I changed computers. My iMac is supposedly better and easier for an author to use – according to my son. It’s slowly becoming easier, but I think he was speaking as a casual writer, not a professional author. Anyway;, I have you down to be notified as soon as I have a date. Thank you, since I’m assuming you liked Hidden and Living.
      Blessings,

If none of my other children have an out-of-state wedding and I can refrain from throwing this computer out the back door, Kindle version of Staying in Shadow should be out no later than the 18th. I”m shooting for the 17th as the paperback version’s release. That step involves more than just me, so I have to make sure everybody is on board and I’m pleasing the people who give me my royalties. LOL If you order paperback straight from me, I’ll knock the price of shipping off. Think of it as a reward for your patience and support.
      Blessings and Prayers,

Thank you. If something could go wrong with this book, it did. I’ve had to “officially” extend the publication date to October 12, BUT I am working on it every minute I can spare so hopefully, it will be sooner. If you want to order it from me, I will knock off the postage. I want all who have been waiting, to have this discount. I posted it on Facebook, and all anyone has to do is contact me here or on my FB author page. I’m not quite sure how, but somehow I have five pages to tend to. Church, Blog, Author, Class of ’79, and my georgia evans page. So, if you know someone who has been waiting, please tell them to contact me for a discount. And, I am so happy you’re enjoying the In Shadow Trilogy. Blessings

The good news is Living is available in both Kindle and paperback, AND the Kindle of Staying will most likely be available before the paperbacks. For my loyal and patient readers–if Staying gets here before the launch, I will notify you. I’ve never had so much trouble, but the two different files was a dandy.
I really appreciate your interest and support.

Hi, Evelitza. (what a pretty name) The whole trilogy has been the most I’ve ever enjoyed writing. I felt the Lord with me every step of the way, and he has gently led me to the right niche. I hope you enjoyed Living. Reviews have been positive except one who didn’t like the ending. Well, neither did I, but had he lived, he’d be on the run or in prison. And, in my mind, he prayed on the plane’s way down and accepted Jesus as his savior.
Now, Staying closes the trilogy, but a novella about Mitch and Tessa introduces the Winters family and a six book series. That’s exciting, but post-its adorn my desk, with pitiful scribbles about the books all around me.LOL

Thank you. To be honest, this fibromyalgia “fog” the doctors call it, is making it very difficult to write or edit. I mean one thing, and something else comes out of my mouth or on the monitor. I keep finding more and more mistakes, and the silly thing has come and gone 5 or 6 times–I stopped counting.
I am very grateful for you attention and support, but mostly for your daughter. What a wonderful young woman; you must be proud. I’m making another attempt to fix it, so if you hear an agonizing scream coming from this direction, think nothing of it. I love you.

Thank you, baby sister. I am doing all I can to get Staying in Shadow here. I’ve had so many problems with it, for a little while I thought God didn’t want me to write the book. And, then I woke up one morning and knew what to do. I got on the computer and it only took a little while to fix it.
Because so many have asked,a book that will go between In Shadow series and my new six-book creation, is about Tessa and Mitch. They will meet the “Winters family,” so I’m ending one and beginning another. Easier said than done.
I love you, and you’ll get your copy of Staying as soon as they make it home.

Thank you, Judi. I’m working on getting the third one out, but it seems like if it can go wrong, it is. Formatting issues, a font that looked stupid, and continuity. Somehow, first I lost chapters, and then they showed up–in the wrong places. That would trash a storyline. It’s fixed now, and I’m waiting for it to come from the printers. They’re usually prompt since I have books selling and making them money. So far, Living in Shadow has outsold the entire contemporary romance series – both of them. God has called me to this genre and blessed me with stories to tell.

Thank you, Janet. I feel called to write in this genre, and as long as the Lord keeps blessing me with ideas, I will continue. Between the In Shadow trilogy and new six-book series, working name of “Winters,” there is going to be a novel about Mitch and Tessa. It’s fun to write, and I wanted to show that Mitch isn’t as perfect as he seemed in the trilogy. Christians aren’t perfect, are we? Neither is he.

Sorry for such a late response–For your wait, if you will provide me with your email address, I will send a complimentary Kindle version of Staying in Shadow, book 3. I’m glad you like the trilogy; it’s certainly been a labor of love. This last book was more difficult than any other I’ve written, including my 2 “Georgia Evans” contemporary love series. (rated PG-13 – no longer in that genre since the Lord has called me to this one.
